My thoughts on Glen Massey By ITB
My Essay
My
Journey at Glen Massey School has been amazing. From five years old to thirteen
years old. From year one, to year eight. I remember the first day of school, I
was so scared about seeing all of the seniors. I thought they would be mean to
me. But I was wrong. Everybody at Glen Massey School is loyal, nice and
responsible. All the seniors were responsible, caring, helpful and in some ways
like brothers and sisters to me.
Glen
Massey is a magnificent school. All my friends are kind, amazing and fun. The
teachers are so responsible, polite and organized. The principal of Glen Massey
School is friendly, organized and he cares for the students. The Glen Massey
mission statement is learning for life. Learning is a big part of this school.
Our school values are; Fairness, Objectivity, Respect, Loyalty, Integrity, Friendliness
and Empathy. All the students here are energetic, inviting and awesome. Our
curriculum is really fantastic and we have high standards and with a lot of
hard work, students achieve high. The school provides us with so many
opportunities. We have learnt to become leaders, role models and to care for
our younger students.
Bullying
is not tolerated at Glen Massey School. There is a lot of sporting
opportunities too. Such as, Sogo sports and team sports. All the students care
about the school environment. To help our environment, we pick up our rubbish
and weed the gardens. Over the years a lot of people have asked, where is Glen
Massey? It’s about 20 minutes out of Hamilton and 10 minutes out of
Ngaruawahia. It’s a small country school. Throughout my journey at Glen Massey
School there has been a bit of bumps and bruises, but if it wasn’t for those bumps
and bruises, I wouldn’t be as strong and who I am today. I’ve loved being a part
of Glen Massey school. I’ve became a leader and a role model for younger
students. Glen Massey School has been a huge part of my life and I am proud to
say that I am student of Glen Massey School.
